What is Spiritual Direction?
Spiritual direction is a companioned space for noticing where God — or the sacred, however you name it — is already at work in your life. It isn't therapy, and it isn't advice-giving. It's a slower, listening kind of conversation, held with confidentiality and care, where you're invited to pay attention to your own inner life with a trusted companion beside you.
What a Session Looks Like
Format: In-person (Cincinnati area) or via video call
Length: 50–60 minutes
Cadence: Most directees meet monthly; some prefer every three weeks.
First session: A no-obligation conversation to see if we're a good fit.
What to Expect
A confidential, unhurried space
Open-ended questions rather than answers or fixes
Room for silence, prayer, and reflection
A relationship built over time, not a single-session fix
Is Spiritual Direction Right for You?
You might be drawn to spiritual direction if you're:
Sensing a shift or transition and want space to process it
Longing for a deeper sense of God's presence in ordinary life
Feeling spiritually dry, stuck, or unsure what's next
Wanting a steady companion for the long haul, not a quick fix
Ready to Begin?
The first step is simply a conversation. SCHEDULE A TIME and we'll talk about whether this is a good next step for you.
